Muhlenberg County Fair Momentum A MUHLENBERG COUNTY SPECIAL SECTION OwensboroHealth.org/Muhlenberg Momentum • 1 Owensboro Health and Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital are proud to support our community through the sponsorship of Lu-Ray Park and the surrounding walking trail. This year Lu-Ray will play host to world-famous musician John Prine and, later in the year, Vanilla Ice and Tone Loc. In addition to concerts, Lu-Ray hosts Movies in the Park — a free series geared toward families and couples. The 2019 Movies in the Park schedule is: June 7: Kids’ Night — Mary Poppins July 19: Date Night — A Star is Born August 17: Kids’ Night — Incredibles 2 September 7: Family/Church Night — I Can Only Imagine , WHAT’S HAPPENING, Muhlenberg? The fair is sponsored by OHMCH at the Grand Champion Partner level. OHMCH maintains a presence at the fair each night with a prize wheel. This year’s fair dates are June 11 through 15. Take a Kid Fishing Day This annual activity is sponsored by OHMCH via a mini grant. OHMCH EMS also provides a cooling tent and sunscreen and has a prize wheel for participants and guests. This year’s event is June 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Luzerne Lake. Lu-Ray Park and Amphitheater Saturdays on the Square Saturdays on the Square is a free concert series hosted by the Greenville Tourism Commission. OHMCH provides a cooling tent and fans at some events.
