We are going to have a good, strong group of primary care doctors and nurse practitioners there working together. We also have the ability to draw labs and run them right in the Healthplex. So when you come see your doctor or your nurse practitioner, you can have your labs done that day. A new facility will be more accessible, especially for our elderly patients and for those with disabilities. It will be a lot more comfortable and convenient for all patients to get multiple services in one location. On a personal note, my husband and I have been at separate facilities since we moved back to Greenville. With our new son, it will be a lot easier for us to be in the same building. It also means that all providers will be able to collaborate with one another on patient care.” LACEY JOHNSON, APRN Urgent Care “We are very excited for the expansion of services we will be providing with the new, state-of-the-art technology. This includes occupational medicine for work health, work physicals, DOT physicals and urine drug screens. We are also able to collaborate with the other physicians in the building. Instead of a phone call away, they are an office away. If we need to ask them about one of their patients, they are right there on-site. If a patient is sick and needs a same-day visit for an illness or injury, they can see us in Urgent Care if they can’t get in to see their provider. I think the patient experience starts as soon as they walk through the door.
